This project of auto-construction meant living on site for several periods of a couple of weeks long. The outdoors, the countryside, birds waking up and frogconcerts falling a sleep. Bright starlit skies, sunrises and sunsets. Cooking on a fire and washing in the open field. Building sites can get pretty messy, and the sun doesn't always shine. Breaks to the metropole reminded of reality and were equally refreshing.
