100 Unionstreet

Temporary Architecture
SE1 London
A disused plot next to the railway arches in Southwark. Our first intervention here was in 2008 at the LFA with EXYZT, the Southwark LIDO. Many projects followed more or less yearly. (see EXYZT)
In 2015 untill 2016 I joined founder of EXYZT Nicolas Henninger and we lived on site in a reclaimed timber pavillion from an exhibition at the V&A, adjusted for exterior use.
Services were present from former projects, workshop, first small than bigger, a zome and cabins for guests were added over time. Everything was made from a steady sourcing of reclaimed materials with help of volunteers, interns and students from Saint-Martin's Architecture department.
During this time the Office For Crafted Architecture [OFCA] was created and we take on Design and Build projects with this structure.
