Alcove Joinery — Residential
For this Victorian terraced home in London we designed and produced a series of bespoke alcove wardrobes, cupboards, and shelving units. The joinery was developed to make full use of the characteristic alcove spaces found in period houses, providing integrated storage while maintaining the proportions and rhythm of the existing rooms.
The units were designed as wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, combining closed storage with open shelving to suit the daily needs of the household. A restrained palette of painted surfaces and refined hardware ensures the joinery sits comfortably within the traditional interior while offering a durable contemporary finish.
