LA PLANQUE

2015 — Montpellier, FR
Cabin — Temporary Installation

La Planque was a temporary cabin constructed for the Festival Tropisme at Centre d’Art La Panacée in Montpellier, developed in collaboration with the collective E.X.Y.Z.T.. Installed within the inner courtyard of the museum, the project was conceived as a “hide-out” — a small, inhabitable structure offering retreat, gathering, and informal occupation during the festival.

The design explores notions of enclosure, light, and permeability, combining simple materials to create a space that is both intimate and visually open. As a temporary intervention, the cabin was designed for rapid assembly and disassembly, aligning with the experimental and ephemeral nature of the festival context.
