Wall Cabinets — GOOD WOOD WORKS

A series of bespoke wall-mounted cabinets designed as part of our GOOD WOOD WORKS line, made entirely from 100% reclaimed materials. The project includes a range of medicine, display, and general-purpose cabinets, each developed around a consistent shaker language while allowing variation in door infill and function.

The cabinets combine reclaimed solid oak and oak-veneered plywood with refined detailing such as reeded glass, mirrored panels, or full timber doors, creating a versatile set of pieces suited to different interior contexts. Emphasis is placed on material reuse, durability, and quiet craftsmanship.

SPECIFICATIONS​​

Cabinetry

  • Wall-mounted cabinets in shaker construction.

  • Fabricated from 100% reclaimed solid oak and reclaimed oak-veneered plywood.

Doors

  • Hinged doors with varied infill:

    • Reeded (fluted) glass

    • Mirror panels

    • Oak-veneered plywood panels

  • Mounted on solid brass flush hinges.

Shelving

  • Adjustable glass shelves within cabinets.

Hardware

  • Cast iron knobs.

  • Polished brass magnetic catches.

Finish Strategy

  • Natural finish preserving the character and patina of the reclaimed oak.

Construction Strategy

  • Small-batch, crafted cabinetry using reclaimed materials, combining traditional joinery with adaptable configurations for a range of domestic uses.
