JOINERY & CABINETRY
For this residential project in Paris, we were commissioned to design and fabricate a series of bespoke joinery elements integrated throughout the apartment. The intervention centres around three key pieces, each responding to the spatial constraints and verticality of the interior.
The primary element is a continuous birch plywood bookcase running through the apartment. This architectural furniture piece acts both as storage and spatial divider, organising the living space while maintaining visual continuity.
In addition, a full-width, full-height wardrobe was designed to fit beneath the apartment’s sloped roof, maximising storage within the available volume. Completing the ensemble is a mobile ladder, constructed in solid oak within a bespoke steel frame, providing access to both the mezzanine level and the upper sections of the wardrobe.
All plywood elements were finished with polyurethane lacquer, ensuring durability while highlighting the natural character of the birch.
