Furniture — Table Production
Production of a bespoke table at Atelier Vincent de Rijk in Rotterdam, exploring the relationship between material experimentation, casting techniques and furniture design.
The project focused on the use of cast resin as the primary material, creating a table with a strong sculptural presence and a seamless, monolithic appearance. Combining industrial processes with handcrafted finishing techniques, the piece reflects an early investigation into synthetic materials as structural and aesthetic elements within furniture production.
Developed within the experimental environment of the atelier, the project emphasised precision in mould-making, casting and surface treatment.
