This project was developed incrementally over several years, with a consistent brief from the clients: everything in plywood. Each intervention was designed and built to integrate seamlessly with the existing home while allowing the project to evolve alongside the family’s needs.

 

The works include a kitchen renovation, a series of bespoke shelving and media units, under stair cabinetry, a new floor and a plywood cabin formed within the existing roof trusses — creating a compact, characterful retreat for a growing adolescent. Throughout, the emphasis was on material honesty, durability, and continuity across all elements.
