Victorian Maisonette — Renovation / Kitchen

This project involved the renovation of a Victorian maisonette, centred around the relocation and complete redesign of the kitchen. By moving the kitchen into a new room, an additional bedroom was created, improving the overall layout and functionality of the home.

The design combines reclaimed materials with traditional detailing, forming a contemporary kitchen that sits comfortably within the period setting. Bespoke elements from our GOOD WOOD WORKS line were integrated with off-the-shelf systems, resulting in a balance of economy, sustainability, and craftsmanship.

Alongside the kitchen, the project included a range of building works, from insulation upgrades to new services and restoration of original features, delivering a comprehensive transformation of the apartment.

Victorian Maisonette — Renovation / Bathroom

As part of the wider renovation of this Victorian maisonette, the bathroom was fully reconfigured into a compact wetroom, combining contemporary performance with traditional detailing. The design integrates a walk-in shower, wall-hung WC, and classic sanitary fittings, carefully arranged within a limited footprint.

Particular attention was given to the presence of a window within the shower area, requiring enhanced detailing and waterproofing to ensure long-term durability. The space is defined by a refined material palette, combining tiled surfaces, painted elements, and timber detailing, with contrasting tones of Jack Black and Green Stone Pale from Little Greene Co.
